These charges apply where plants can be sent Fed Ex Ground.
If order does not meet FedEx size requirements, other methods of
transportation will be arranged at additional cost. We do use special air
commodity rates, which helps reduce the amount of extra air costs.
HANDLING AND SHIPPING CHARGES, PLANTS ONLY; AIR BY FEDEX
OR DELTA AIRLINES
With many orders at some distance or in the summer months,
we must ship by air. We cannot tell the costs before the plants are
prepared for shipping, boxed, and weighed and measured. This method of
shipping is more costly than ground.
Large plants often must go by Air Freight. We cannot tell
the costs before the plants are prepared for shipping, boxed, and weighed and
measured.
HANDLING AND SHIPPING CHARGES, FOREIGN ORDERS
Foreign orders need a Phytosanitary Certificate. This
requires an inspection by our Agriculture Departmant. The charge is $25.00.
Foreign Packing and Handling is 8% of the plant cost.
Bare Rooting Fee is 6% of the plant cost.
