SHIPPING — FedEx surface shipments have maximum size and weight restrictions as well as additional charges for boxes over 5’. If a box is over 84" combined (distance around the box plus length), it is charged as 30 lbs. no matter what it weighs; if over 108" combined, it is charged as 50 lbs. Many trees measuring 5' and over often must be shipped by air as the size limits for air are greater. Excellent door to door air service is also offered by Delta Airlines. We select the carrier which delivers to your area for the lowest rate.

If your shrubs arrive at a time that does not permit immediate planting due to the weather, they can be safely held in a cool greenhouse, basement or garage for a reasonable amount of time provided they are kept moist but not sitting in water. Also, provide good air circulation.
